PUA is the result of a cooperation agreement between Villa María University Press Eduvim in Argentina, and OmniScriptum GmbH & Co. KG in Germany. The main objective of this agreement is to render an Argentine catalogue available to the academic, scientific, technical and university audiences from Europe, the United Kingdom and the United States. This catalogue would include the most important works produced by professors and researchers at Argentine Universities.
We are certain that the ultimate beneficiaries of this co-edition agreement will be readers from all over the world, since today without this tool it is almost impossible for them to have access to a vast bibliographic background, such as Argentina’s.
We also want our readers to evaluate the huge bibliographic production of a country that strongly believes in one of its nineteenth century founding fathers’ saying: “to educate is to found”. Now-a-days we could say that reading paves the way for a better world, for a fairer and more equalitarian place, we could assert that bibliodiversity is one of the best ways to achieve this.
